I have had a love affair with Luna for as long as I can remember. It bring me great joy that this is something shared by my sons as well when I hear their sweet voices exclaim with excitement “Mama, look at the Moon!”
A powerful and recognizable feature in our sky- day or night, our Ancestors held this reverence and awe. They weren’t aware of its effect on tides, but they did notice its cycles and learn to work with it.
The Moon’s energy is present whether we choose to work with it or not. It represents our emotions, our connection to mothering. It’s placement in the sky can have a strong influence on our inner lives, and knowing where it lies in your Astrological birth chart can tell you a lot about yourself.
